Keimare Campbell is a 6’2, 230-pound athlete out of General Trass High School with a 3.3 GPA and a three-time All-District selection who recently competed in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl, where he gained valuable experience competing and bonding with athletes from across the country in a college style environment.
Q&A with Keimare Campbell
How did you feel about the bowl game and what were your takeaways from it?
- “The game was amazing. I had a good experience from the bowl game, just playing with other guys and bonding as a team and as a family.”
What do you feel are your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to football?
- “I feel like my strength is being a leader and leading my team when things aren’t going right, like if we’re down. I feel like I could be more vocal, honestly.”
What advice would you give to college coaches, and why should they recruit you?
- “You should look at anybody no matter their size or what they went through, because I’m a good player and a leader.”
Do you play any other sports?
- “I play baseball and I throw the javelin.”
How do those sports help you when it comes to football?
- “Baseball helped me because I played in high school and it helped with my throwing. Basketball helped me be a leader and lead people.”
Why did you choose football?
- “Because I love football. Football is my life, and if you get a better opportunity, you can get your family out of the hood.”
Do you have a favorite player or favorite team?
- “My favorite player is Drew Brees, and my favorite team is the Saints.”
Is there anything else you want people to know about you?
- “It’s really nothing else. My game really speaks for itself.”
