North Vermilion High School (Maurice, LA) K/P Logan Blanchard is the first specialist to commit to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will take place on Tuesday, December 30th at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana.
Blanchard is not only one of the best kickers/punters in the state of Louisiana, but he may be one of the Patriots’ most dangerous weapons. Last season, Blanchard was the only Patriot to make All-District by making 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-State at punter.
At 5’9, 150 pounds, the three-star rated kicker from Gridiron Football also can show his toughness and athleticism as he also starts as a defensive back for the Patriots. From his soccer background, Blanchard has the consistency to make field goals once inside the 30-yard line while also having the leg strength to flip the field position on his punts.
Regarded by his head coach Roderick Moy as one of the best kickers in the area to go along with a 2.8 GPA, Blanchard is anxious to show off his kicking skills at the bowl game when he received the offer to play in the All-Star Game before the start of the season at our Gridiron Football Media Day.
“I am just excited to see the college coaches and have them see what I can bring to the table.”
