Here is my interview with Zachary Green below!

What got you into football?

Really backyard football, I used to play a lot as a little boy messing with my older brother. When I was growing up whatever my brother did I wanted to do it too.

How’d you pick your position?

I wasn’t really a defensive guy, I always liked running as a little boy, running was all I did. So, when it came down to it I was like: “What am I good at?” and I knew I had speed but I didn’t really like being in the backfield too much but I can catch So I tried out receiver for a few games it worked out, and I was a receiver from that day forth.

Was there a player you based your game off of?

Yes, Cooper Kupp. See me, I’m pretty quick but I’m not all that fast so what I did was watch him cause Cooper Kupp ain’t as fast but he knows how to get open with his speed. That’s why I say I feel like I play like him cause that’s how I work on the field.

Do you have a favorite football player?

Stefon Diggs because when there where certain things I would need help with I would go watch a video of him breaking down a route or how he’d run a route on certain coverages so that’s why.

What would you say is your strongest attribute when playing football?

Play calling. And the reason I say this is If I’m seeing a certain coverage or I’m seeing how a guy is coming down or playing off the whole time I’ll come to the sideline and let the coach know what play could work and what we could run against it.

What’s your dream college?

Clemson, and my family was always big on LSU but for some reason there was a spark with Clemson watching them growing up, I really like their community.

Do you have a favorite football team?

The Pittsburg Steelers because of Le’Veon Bell when he was playing. He was a patient back, that’s what I liked about him.

What differentiates you from other players?

I’d like to say my work ethic and discipline. I don’t complain in general, and if coach is telling me something I’m there listening and locked in. Cause if he’s telling me something I obviously did something wrong so why not listen so I can fix it and do better the next time I’m there. I also feel like my work ethic is really there for instance if you where to call me and say I need to be at the field by 6 I’m going to be there at 5:30.

What’s your favorite football movie?

The Blind side
