Nick Brown, Huntington High School (Shreveport, Louisiana)

Nick will be going into his senior year and this will be his first full year starting after starting the last few games of last season. He plays nickel and strong safety. He has a height of 5’7 and weight of 165 with a 3.5 GPA. Last season he had 23 solo tackles, 1 TFL and 1 interception. He currently has 2 offers from Hendrix College and Maricopa Mustangs. He has been playing the game of football since he was 5 years old.

Nick answered a few questions to get more of an insight of him as a player.

What made you want yo play football?

”My dad is a coach I was around it all my life and my older brother played so it made me want to try.”

What is your favorite football memory?

”My favorite memory is when I caught my first interception vs Evangel.”

Who is someone you look up to and why?

”I look up to my father because he has faced a lot of challenges and helps mentor and help a lot of kids.”

What are some of your goals for the upcoming season?

”My goals this upcoming season is to make it to state with my guys and prove all the haters wrong and also catch 5 interceptions and average eight tackles a game.”

Is there anything you want college coaches to know about you?

”I am a student first and I believe in god and I am a hard worker and I can achieve anything I set my goals to.”
