Nicholls Hopes to Find a Rhythm

Nicholls lost another game Saturday against Lamar; Nicholls was routed with a final score of 63-21. These are trying times from Nicholls football fans. Beginning with the departure of their head coach, Nicholls is fighting week after week to capture their first win of the season. Reflecting on the Nicholls season, it is tough to not feel for their athletes who are playing hard week in and week out. Being out-matched is a familiar feeling for Nicholls, which is unacceptable for that program. From this point of the season moving forward, it is important that the young athletes for Nicholls receive playing experience in order to build upon next year’s season early. The head coach position will be evaluated in the off-season, so playing young players is the best way to put that coach in a position to be successful. The Colonels take on Houston Baptist next week as they hope to build on their strengths, which right now, is spirit. Go Colonels!
