After visiting with the LSU Tigers last week, Maryland offensive lineman Mason Lunsford has committed and will now transfer to LSU as it was first reported by the Advocate’s Wilson Alexander.
Lunsford will add even more veteran depth to the Tigers’ offensive line as he started two years for the Terrapins including over 25 games. Lunsford made his decision to enter the transfer portal two weeks ago and received offers from Arkansas, Houston, Louisville, and others. The veteran starter from Maryland started all season last year at left guard and will give the Tigers another player to plug in on the interior. He will also have two years of eligibility remaining.
For more on this new addition and how it helps the Tigers, make sure to check back with us on the website tomorrow as I will talk about the latest Tiger additions on the offensive line including Maryland transfer Mason Lunsford.
