Ke’von Johnson, a sophomore from St Edmund High School in Eunice, La, is having an unbelievable season thus far. In the first five games of the season, he has rushed for 1,079 yards and scored 16 touchdowns as a rusher. He currently leads the state of Louisiana and is ranked 127 nationally in rushing yards.
Talked to his head coach, Coach Shriver, and he said “Ke’von in one of the best players I have ever coached. He is fun to watch.” “The thing about Ke’von is that he hasn’t hit his potential yet. He is just a sophomore. He benches 225. He is just a great young man, he is very humble, and doesn’t know he is leading the state in rushing.”
In his freshman year, Ke’von was named player of the week for week 1 of the season. He rushed for 1,676 yards while scoring 18 touchdowns in 2022. This season he has been nominated several times for Player of the Week.
The future is surely bright for this young man.
