Kaden Taylor
After starting a couple of games at the quarterback position over his career, Kaden Taylor will be entering the season as the full time starter under center in the Grand Lake Hornets’ flexbone offense. At 6’0, 200 pounds, Kaden has been a key two way player during the Hornets’ success at the 1A and 2A level in Louisiana. He has especially excelled on the defensive side of the football at the defensive end position. Last fall, he posted some impressive numbers, especially as a defensive end, including 102 total tackles, 8 TFLs, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries, 2 INTs, & 2 Pick 6’s. Kaden has played some of his best football in some of the biggest games the Hornets had including a great performance in a first round playoff game against LaSalle in which he had 18 tackles on defense, a pick six, and a kickoff return for a touchdown. Kaden has played multiple positions over his career as he has played safety, defensive end, quarterback, and now linebacker. While also being a good football player, Kaden also excels on the diamond as a baseball player as well. Currently, Kaden has received one offer from Lyon College, but has received interest from several others. Kaden Taylor has been invited to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of the season in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
