Consistently, Brian Jenkins III has been one of the top running backs in the state of Louisiana throughout his prep career at Pearl River High School in Pearl River, LA. Brian will go down as one of the best players in program history. Nicknamed “The Ghost”, Brian definitely put fear in opposing defensive coordinators for four years as he is a three-time All-District, three time All-Parish, and three-time 2nd Team All-State selection. At 5’9, 195 pounds, Brian possesses a lot of power and hardly goes down after first contact, but at the same time, has the 4.5/40 speed to hit the big play. His junior season, Brian had four games in which he ran for over 200 yards including a 306-yard, 5 TD performance against Pope John Paul II. He was just as productive in 2022 as he ran for over 1,400 yards this season. After being the bell cow in the program’s offense throughout his entire prep career, Brian will be rewarded by playing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in Orange Beach, Alabama to represent the Rebels one more time.
“My first reaction was that I was excited to be invited to such a prestigious offer and that all my hard work has paid off.”
