DITR : WR Kylin Jordan Althoff Catholic High School (Belleville, Illinois)

Kylin Jordan is a student-athlete currently attending Althoff Catholic High School as part of the class of 2025. Standing tall at 6 feet, Kylin excels on the football field as a wide receiver. Alongside his athletic prowess, he maintains a commendable 3.18 GPA. He also showcases his versatility by contributing on both offense and defense for his team. From his film, it’s evident that Kylin Jordan specializes in running short routes, fearlessly making catches even when facing oncoming defenders at full speed. Additionally, he showcases impressive run-blocking abilities, exhibiting a willingness to engage and dominate opposing players, executing pancake blocks to create opportunities for his teammates.

What are some things you have overcome in life?

“At the age of six, I grappled with the monumental task of understanding and accepting the profound loss of my father.”

What are your biggest accomplishments?

” I consider my greatest achievement to be earning a spot as a varsity starter during my sophomore year.”

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

“I wanna say that i compare myself to Justin Jefferson why because my route running skills are similar to his”

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

“When I am done with football I aspire to venture into the realm of business management.”

What are some goals you have for yourself, and your team next season?

“My goals for this season is to have more than 500+ receiving yards with 10 touchdowns. But of course for my team this season I want us to win the state Championship and get that ring.”

What do you like about the sport of football and how is it significant to you?

“Man the game of football I fell in love with at 6 years old. When I first played it I fell in love with the game the competition and the contact.”

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

“Outside of football I like to spend time playing around with my brother outside.”

What is your dream school?

“My dream school undoubtedly is PVAMU, a renowned HBCU with a strong football program. It offers not only the opportunity to pursue my passion for football but also an environment where I myself can learn more about black history and culture.”

What position do you enjoy playing the most and why?

“I love playing Wide receiver but playing the slot might be my favorite part because just on the fact of all the different routes that I can.”

What are some ways your coaches have helped you?

“My coaches helped me improve on like being more of an leader and helping with talking to them about what’s going on on the field”

What colleges have you received any offers or interest from if any and what is your dream college to play for?

“Currently, I haven’t received any official offers from colleges, but I’ve garnered interest from some. My ultimate dream is to play football at either an HBCU or an SEC school, where I believe I can thrive.
