Tyrese Mosby is a powerful running back for the Plaquemine Green Devils. Mosby is an exciting runner in the class of 2025, and is a key asset for the Green Devils. Mosby is guaranteed to give you his best efforts every time he is given the ball. Mosby standing at 5’9 and weighing 185 pounds has proven he can be a weapon for any collegiate team that gives him the opportunity. He is an honorable mention for All-State running backs. He has won the district MVP for the Green Devils as well. Last season Mosby ran for over a 1,000 yards and scored 16 touchdowns rushing but scored 17 total touchdowns bringing one in on a reception.

Mosby is a 3-year starter leading the Green Devils since his sophomore year. Through his 3 years Mosby has put up astonishing numbers for the Green Devils, rushing for over a 1,000 yards a season. Due to Mosby elite speed and ability to run through the defenders, it is hard for his opponents to slow him down on Friday nights. Mosby has won multiple awards while playing for the Green Devils, awards such as All-District MVP and a honorable mention for All-State running backs. Mosby is off to a hot start this season as well, just at the beginning of this season Mosby has ran for 773 yards and 10 touchdowns. Last week Mosby would have a career night, running for 310 yards and scoring 5 touchdowns in the game. After winning the District last year, Mosby will look to help bring another District Championship to the Plaquemine Green Devils. The Green Devils will play West Feliciana, Mosby will be a key player in this game and will be a big impact for the Green Devils.

What created your love for the game?

“What created my love for the game are the opportunities it gives you and just the thrill I get when im able to run the ball and score touchdowns.”

What is your dream college to play at?

“I don’t necessarily have a dream college to play at, I just want to be able to play at the next level.”

What would you say your biggest strengths on the field are?

“My biggest strength is probably my field vision because I’m able to identify everything and know what I have to do.”

Which NFL player do you relate your style of play to?

“One NFL player that comes to mind is Nick Chubb because he’s a great downhill runner and get the job done.”

What have been your biggest improvements in the last couple years?

“Many of the things that I’ve improved on is my reliability because im able to be useful in so many different things.”

How has the recruiting process been for you as a player?

“The recruiting process has been a little confusing for me buy my hopes are high.”

What are some self goals you have as a player?

“Some self goals that I have for myself is to reach 2,000 rushing yards and to make it to the Super Dome in December.”

What are some goals you have for your team this year?

“winning state”

How has your coaches helped you become a better player?

“My coaches have provided me with all of the tools and put me in the best position possible for me to be able to do what I have to do. They have provided so many tools in the offseason to get me to this point.”

What do you feel you bring to the table for a school that is interested in your skills?

“As for what I bring to the table, it’s nothing less than a pure athlete.”
