I spoke with William from St. Thomas More who competed at the Breaux Bridge camp and takes a lot of pride in being a complete player. He told me he’s most proud of his blocking ability, while also being confident in his hands and his ability to get open in the passing game. In the weight room, he’s put up solid numbers with a 255-pound bench press, 335-pound squat, 380-pound deadlift, and a 250-pound clean. As a tight end, his main focus is helping his team establish a strong run game, especially making sure they can consistently run the ball to his side. Off the field, he maintains a 3.2 GPA, showing his commitment in the classroom as well.

What goals do you have for your upcoming season?
” My goals for this season are to be a good teammate and make myself useful for our offense.”
What made you start playing football?
” I’ve always played football my whole life my dad inspired me to play.”
What made you choose this camp?
” I have seen this camp all over twitter and it looked like an amazing camp.”
What was your favorite drill?
“My favorite drill was the 7on7 we did.”
As you have gone through high school, what are some of the toughest challenges that you have had to endure over the years?
” My toughest challenges I have faced have been just waiting for my time to play for any coach that will give me a chance.”
Who is your favorite football player?
” My favorite football player is George Kittle”
What are your biggest strengths?
” My biggest strengths are being able to block good and have a good attitude on the field.”
What is your favorite part of football?
” My favorite part of football is the environment and the opportunity God has given me to play.”
How important is academics to you as a student-athlete?
” I put studying first over football because if you can’t do you school work there’s no reason to be on the field.”
