Grayson Tosspon is a 6’2 guard, class of 2028 out of Cathedral High School In Natchez. One game day ritual that Grayson has is he drinks a gallon of water before every game. To Grayson football means a lot to him, it is his favorite school activity. Grayson stated that football has taught him about responsibility, since when you mess up in a game you are responsable therefore you need to learn and his goals for this upcoming season is to make it to states with his team. Grayson has liked the sport of football ever since he was young.
What is your favorite game day experience that you have had so far?
The pep rally or the drive there. That is the time I lock in and hangout with my teammates.
What does football mean to you?
It means a lot. It is my favorite school activity and I get to be with my team and friends.
Do you have a game day ritual you do before every game?
Yes, I drink a gallon of water.
If you have a dream school that you could play football at, what school would that be?
Yale so then I can have the best of both worlds.
What is something football has taught you?
Responsibility because if I mess up that just messes the whole play up.
What made you want to start pursuing football?
My dad played, I always liked playing it growing up. I would always play with my friends.
Is there anyone you look up to in the football world, if so who?
Drake Maye, I have been following him since college and his story is very good.
What did you think about the camp?
I really liked it, I was able too get one on one time with the coaches and get more reps in.
What are your goals for this upcoming season?
I want to make it to state.
How do you go about balancing football, school, and your outside life?
Football is majority of the week, outside life is included with it, and my school life I just do it all after I eat my dinner.
