Let’s welcome the next Diamond in the Rough, from the class of 2026, Jaxon Olivier! Jaxon, respectfully, maxes out his bench at 225lbs and his squat at 405lbs. He is highly regarded as a top dual-sport athlete, having received “Best of the Teche” in Baseball this year and in Football last year for his O-line position. Jaxon was a top 5 finalist for Russell Wilson’s 3BRAND Youth Athlete of the Year (2025). He impressively plays O-line and D-line, achieving All-State in both. Jaxon currently has 3 offers, those being from Culver Stockton, Judson University, and his top choice, Clark University. While tackling these challenges, he manages to maintain a 3.67 GPA, showing off not only his athletic skills but his education as well.

Who is your favorite player?

“Dexter Lawrence, I personally think I play similarly to him.”

What is your favorite part of football?

“Meeting new people and the brotherhood.”

What is your favorite sports memory?

“Winning the state championship in baseball, my junior year.”

If you could be described in one word, what would it be?

“Enthusiastic.”

If you could add anything to the game of football, what would you add?

“If a game goes into OT, each team has to do Oklahoma drills.”

What is your go to gatorade flavor?

“Lemon Lime”

How often do you practice?

“At least 3 times a week.”

Do you have any goals you are trying to achieve?

“Graduate college, play at a D1 level, and become a better man.”

What career do you want to pursue?

“Sports Management, really a sports agent.”

What do you want to be remembered for?

“Being a nice person.”

What is your biggest strength?

“My biggest strengths are that I’m a very patient person, I’m open minded, and always try to be a good teammate.”

What are your weaknesses?

“I get influenced by a lot of things around me. I also think that my size is, in comparison to the position I play.”

Are you looking to improve any specific skills or tactics?

“My speed, strength, and pass rush moves.”

Who is the biggest supporter in your journey?

“My mother.”

Was there a time you faced a major setback or injury?

“I hurt my back lifting, which put me out for a couple of months. What got me through it was resting, taking time for myself, and praying.”

What lessons did you learn from the bowl game?

“To trust people. For instance, I had to contain a gap and trust my teammates and myself to correctly execute the play.”
