DITR: Carson Gurzi, QB, Carencro High School

Carson Gurzi is an incoming sophomore attending Carencro High School out of Lafayette, LA. He is currently the #1 ranked quarterback in Louisiana for the class of 2028. He is a force to be recognized on the field, standing at 6’1, 200 lbs, while also being a credible scholar in the classroom, holding a 3.8 GPA. Gurzi’s great pocket presence, accuracy, and quick decision-making stand out the most to me. Don’t sleep on his legs either because he can also beat you there, running a 4.8 40-yard dash. Speaking with Gurzi, he expressed his relentless efforts to improve in the passing game and speed aspects for the offseason. He finished his monster freshman season just one game short of leading his team to the state championship last year. We’re all on the edge of our seats to see how Gurzi and the Bears make their comeback season!
