DITR: Aidan Rowley Liberty Magnet High School (Baton Rouge, LA)

Aidan Rowley is a cornerback for Liberty Magnet High School, he is stands at 5’11 weighing 170lbs. Rowley currently maintains a 3.9 GPA, making him a important asset to his team on and off the field. Aidan had also mentioned interest in participating in other sports as well such as Track & Field to further improve his athleticism. He had also mentioned that he previously attended an Elite Camp hosted by Gridiron Football. The Liberty Magnet Patriots currently have a 2-1 record with their most recent game being a close loss to Lutcher. Despite their undefeated streak coming to an early close, Rowley seemed more determined than ever to prove that their team can bounce back this Friday against the Salmen Spartans.

I was able to get an interview with Aidan Rowley over the phone the day after their game against Lutcher.

“Your team is now 2-1 on the season is their any improvements you could make from that game?”

“Intensity is the key factor, making sure that there is intensity from the start rather then coming later”

“Are there any teams that your think will be really tough to play?”

“Every week, every opponent is going to be tough. Nobody is going to take it easy on us, because at the end of the day if everyone is playing to win so no one is going to give up easily.”

“What player inspires you the most?”

“Darrelle Revis”

“How do you maintain a 3.9 GPA while also playing football?”

“I always make sure to pay attention in class, especially now since I am a senior and moving to college soon as well. I have to pay attention and lock in. I know that if I don’t get my school work done first the athletics will fall into place.”

“Do you have any schools on your radar right now?”

“I would say McNeese, I also feel like personally I could go to UL not only because of the football but also for my major in engineering”

“You have mentioned that you have attended our Elite Camps, how was that experience?”

“I attended one in January, Gridiron is a great way to get your name out their and get eyes on you, its great exposure.”

“What are some of your strengths?”

“I’d say my strengths are definitely my foot work, my speed and my intelligence to be able to guard my receiver and being able to stay with him.”
