We would like to welcome the latest Diamond in The Rough Rylee Froman! Rylee Froman is a 5’9 140 lb WR, class of 2029 out of Caldwell Parish. Rylee is a standout wide receiver from Caldwell Parish High School, Class of 2029. Off the field, he handles his business in the classroom and represents what it means to be a true student-athlete maintaining a 3.5 GPA. Rylee takes pride in doing whatever it takes to help his team win. On the field, Rylee uses his speed, route-running ability, and strong hands to create separation and make big-time catches. Froman won the Ironman award for putting in work in the weight room. We at Gridiron Football wish Rylee the best!

Here’s my interview with Rylee!
What made you start playing football?
I figured out at a young age that football is a kids game. I started playing because it was a great hobby.
What did you like about the camp?
Just us being able to compete and it was different types of techniques that the defensive back used. I was able to go against them and learn from them.
What is a drill that you can improve on (from camp)?
100 percent the 40 yard dash.
What made you choose this camp?
The exposure and the ability to come out and compete it was overall worth it. Also because I’m close to the area.
Who is your favorite football player?
Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, and Davante Adams
What motivates you to keep working hard?
Just keep thinking of my parents and how I can retire them. Also I promised my elders I will do well in the sport i just wanna make it
What was your favorite drill?
The long jump and change of direction drill.
How did it feel competing with other players at the camp?
It felt good just being able to compete with other guys and seeing how hard they were working it makes you want to work harder.
How does camps like this get help you get better for the season?
The defensive back techniques helps you to know what competition you are going to be up against in the season. Basically a study guide because you see what you are gonna go against.
What is the biggest thing you learned from the camp?
That not every play is gonna be yours, just keep your head up after doing bad.
What does being a good teammate mean to you?
It means everything because if you bring people up while you bring other people up its gon help the team and help chemistry overall.
