Rosepine High School linebacker Landyn Lawrence has committed to play in the fifth annual Gridiron Football All-American Bowl.
“I’m very proud to be able to say I’ve been blessed enough to be selected to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl game.”
Throughout Lawrence’s career, he has recorded 183 tackles. He also has gotten first and second team all district, First Team All-Parish twice and All-Parish defensive MVP.
He has two collegiate offers from John Melvin University and Culver-Stockton University.
A player that Lawrence models his game after is USC linebacker Mason Cobb.
“He is always where he needs to be as a linebacker but is also very good in coverage defense.”
After his playing days are over, he plans to start a business in sports photography. An interesting fact about Cobb is that he loves to duck hunt.
Join Landyn and the rest of our players for the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played at Memorial Stadium on December 30th at 6:00 P.M.
