One of the top quarterbacks in the state of Louisiana has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, and that is Montgomery High School (Montgomery, LA) signal caller Mason Jordan!
As a four-year starter for the Tigers, Jordan has become a standout quarterback that has put up some gawdy numbers over the years. When it comes to production, the Tigers’ veteran signal caller has definitely been that earning All-District, All-CenLa, and All-State honors after throwing for 1,566 yards and 28 touchdowns.
As good as his junior year was, his senior year is on pace to be even better as he is currently third in the state with 1,611 yards and is second in the state with 21 touchdown passes. Rated as a three star from Gridiron Football, the Tigers’ dual threat quarterback has a great ability to throw with touch and accuracy down the field with his passes in the pocket, but when plays break down, he can extend plays outside the pocket as well. That combination has been tough for opposing defenses to handle. Although the team is 3-3, their offense has been dynamic in every game scoring at least 34 points in every game and averaging 42.5 points per game.
Along with his success on the field, Mason Jordan takes care of business off the field with a 3.8 GPA and a 20 on his ACT. He also excels on the diamond as an All-District pitcher for the baseball team. After the conclusion of his senior season, Jordan is looking forward to the opportunity to show off his talents in front of college coaches at the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will be played on Friday, December 30th at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, LA.
“You walk off on that high school football field for the last time, and you are just thinking and thinking if you are going to get an opportunity to play in another game. It’s just a blessing to play another game after the season is over.”
