Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) quarterback Anthony Hall has committed to play in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. The 6’3, 185 pound Gators quarterback plays for one of the premier programs in the Sunshine state and looked like a wily veteran in his first year as the team’s starting quarterback.
Leading his team to eight wins this past season, Hall has a lot of potential to be a big time college quarterback and is flying under the radar. With only one year under his belt as the full-time starting quarterback, Hall has a cannon for an arm coming from his baseball background as the team’s pitcher. Obviously, with his ability to make every throw look easy, the game comes natural to him just like his model Patrick Mahomes.
Not only can Hall throw a great ball, but he also shows great command in the pocket and has the capability of extending plays from the pocket when needed. In his senior campaign, Hall threw for 2,887 yards and 25 touchdowns to only six interceptions. Hall has all the physical tools to be a great quarterback, but he also has a high football IQ and mentality at the position as well.
