My teammates and I look to bounce back from what I call an uncertain year where if it could go wrong, it did. 2020 was not only riddled with Covid, but a new coaching staff on defense as well. I am not going to make excuses because when the game was on, it was our duty to make plays.
This season, we are taking things with a new look. “Be where your feet are” is not only what coach Baker tells us everyday at practice but a great way to live. Basically, be in the moment, don’t live in the past or worry about the future because today is not set. Each of us has taken to this offseason with a warrior mentality and we will be a better version of ourselves. We had a great spring practices and have all worked hard this summer to get bigger, faster, and stronger.
