“Becoming a better leader, I know I’m going to have to step up and do that in college.”
What does a typical training day look like for you?
“I wake up, for athletics, I do lifting, throwing, and skills practice. Then I go to school and have track practice after, with my basketball somewhere in there too.”
What or who is your biggest motivator?
“My dad. He’s brought all of this into my life; without him, I would not be here today. That’s why I do it, for him and the family.”
What are your goals in and outside of football?
“To continue to win and try my best to make myself and my team better. I really just want to make it in life and take care of the family. I currently plan on studying business, specifically sports management.”
Do you have a favorite memory from football?
“Probably, when I ran someone over, and he flipped, it went viral and got on SportsCenter.”
Why do you play football?
“Football is just a sport I love; it happened at a young age, and I stayed with it.”
What makes you stand out against other players?
“When I’m in the pocket, I’m hard to tackle, and when I get outside, I find and open man, I also get people involved.
When did you realize you could play at a higher level?
“About 7th or 8th grade. At first, I was just playing, but when I got my first offer after freshman year, it motivated me to get more.”
How do you handle the intensity and expectations that come with playing at this higher level?
“I stay down and keep working, listen to people in my corner, and would go to camps to focus on myself.”
What do you do to balance your personal life and sports?
“I love playing sports, but I still make sure I do typical teenager stuff like hanging with friends, but sports are always the top priority. I feel like it’s an even balance, though.”

“Me and my brother turning Westwood around. It wasn’t that school, but now it is.”
What legacy do you hope to leave in your sport?
“I just want my name to be read in the history books one day. When I get old and come back, I want to be known as the guy who played here.”
