DITR: QB Kingston Fitte, Haughton Middle School (Haughton, La)

Kingston Fitte attends Haughton Middle School and is part of the class of 2031. He recently participated in the Neville Camp, where he gained valuable experience competing and improving his skills. As a quarterback, he takes pride in earning Offensive MVP, which he considers his biggest athletic accomplishment so far. While he does not currently have recorded max lifts, he is focused on continuing to grow stronger and more developed physically. He shared that his main goal is to improve his mechanics in the pocket to become a more effective and confident quarterback. In the classroom, he maintains a solid 3.5 GPA while balancing his academic and athletic responsibilities.

What goals do you have for your upcoming season?

“My goals this season are to improve my leadership, sharpen my decision making, and help my team compete at a high level. “

What made you start playing football?

“I started playing football because of my love for the fame and competition.”

How has football shaped your plans for the future?

” Football has taught me discipline and leadership and motivated me to pursue the sport at the next level while counting my education. “

What was your favorite drill?

“My favorite drills focus on quarterback footwork and throwing mechanics.”

What skill do you think is most important for your position?

“The most important skill for my position is decision making. “

How do you handle pressure during critical moments in a game?

“I handle pressure by staying calm.”

What’s the best advice a coach has given you?

” The best advice I’ve received is to stay consistent and trust the work.”

What are your biggest strengths?

” My strengths are leadership, composure, and confidence under pressure.”

How do you balance football with schoolwork and other activities?

” I balance school and football through time management and staying organized. ”

How important is academics to you as a student athlete?

” Academics are very important because they create future opportunities and keep me eligible to play. “
