Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) OT Torrey Landry Jr. has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, which will take place on Tuesday, December 30th at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana.
Blocking for one of the best offenses in the state this year that averaged nearly 50 points per game in every game this season, LCA offensive tackle Torrey Landry Jr. was an unsung hero to the Knights’ success in 2025. At 6’4, 240 pounds, Landry looks the part of the athletic prototype that everybody wants in an offensive tackle. Going up against some of the best defensive ends in the state, Landry’s range, athleticism, and strength was a tough out as UL signee Braylon Walker’s jersey was pretty clean this season.
Whether it was protecting Walker or opening up holes for talented underclassmen running back Caiden Bellard, Landry was one of the best senior offensive linemen that the state of Louisiana had to offer. Not only has the Knights’ big, athletic right tackle been recognized as 1st Team All-District, but he has also been named 1st Team All-State. While the Knights’ overall offensive numbers looked impressive enroute to a Semifinal appearance, Landry’s individual play was just as impressive with 45 pancake blocks and only one sack given up.
With a 3.8 GPA and a 24 on his ACT, Landry’s frame and upside has attracted many colleges including five offers from Louisiana Christian University, Milikin University, Millsaps College, Community Christian College, and Centenary College.
Torrey Landry Jr. is excited to represent the Knights one last time before going off to college while also using this experience as an other opportunity to showcase his skills in front of coaches.
