One of the most consistent quarterback performers in South Louisiana over the past couple of years has committed to play in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and that is Pine High School (Franklinton, LA) QB Trey Knight. He will be one of the few quarterbacks that will be showcasing his talents on Tuesday, December 30th at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana.
At 6’3, 190 pounds, Knight has been huge for the Raiders’ the last couple of years as a two time All-District selection. During that time, he has led the Raiders to back-to-back Quarterfinal appearances. As a junior in a Wing T offensive attack, Knight still managed to account for over 2,000 yards of offense and 15 total touchdowns.
Leading the Raiders to 16 wins and two playoff berths in two seasons, Knight has winning qualities including a big frame, athletic running ability to run a Wing T offense, and also a strong arm that can make all kinds of throws all over the field.
“Trey Knight had 2,000 yards passing for us last year. This will be his second year starting, but I tell people that he was capable of also starting as a sophomore. He just had a four-year starter that was ahead of him. Trey is a guy that seems like he has been starting more than one year.”

With a 4.0 GPA and a ton of ability as not only a football player but also as a baseball player, Trey Knight is excited to be one of the few quarterbacks to be selected to play in this year’s All-American Bowl Game. Already showing that he can be productive throwing in a run first offense, Knight wants to show college coaches what he can do when given the opportunity.
