BREAKING NEWS: Erath High School (Erath, LA) QB Jack Landry Commits To 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game

One of the best quarterbacks in the entire state of Louisiana has officially committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game and that is Erath High School (Erath, LA) QB Jack Landry. The Bobcats’ talented signal caller will show off his talents at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 30th.

When it comes to having spectacular senior seasons, Landry is having himself a historic season as the quarterback to lead the Bobcats to their first ever undefeated 10-0 district championship season. Along the way, Landry has posted some impressive numbers posting a 127.69 QBR by completing 83/132 passes (62.8%) for 1,260 yards and 19 touchdowns to only three interceptions.

At 6’3, 200 pounds, Landry is rated as a four star quarterback prospect by Gridiron Football. His size, pocket presence, and effortless throwing motion make him a quarterback prospect that really needs to be talked about way more across the state of Louisiana. His control over the offense and his accuracy are definitely qualities that coaches look for in a top-notch quarterback. Most importantly, all he does is win. While he led the Bobcats to an undefeated record his senior year, Landry also led the Bobcats to a 9-1 regular season record his junior year. Looking to add some more trophies to his case, he already has been named Honorable Mention All-District his sophomore year, 1st team All-District his junior year, and Offensive MVP and Honorable Mention All-State last season.

Not to mention, Landry is a two-sport star that is also a standout right fielder for the Erath baseball team leading the Bobcats to a state runner-up finish last year while earning 1st Team All-District honors the last two seasons. Continuing to check every box, he also has a 4.0 GPA and a 26 on his ACT in the classroom. Surprisingly, Jack Landry is searching for his first college offer, and he is hoping that a run to the Dome plus a performance in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game will help him gather some offers.

“I think that it is an amazing opportunity. Just playing the game and being out there is a blast for me. Just competing and being able to go against 11 guys is a thrill!”
