Alexandria was looking for redemption after coming off their first loss against West Monroe and they did just that in their game against Pineville. Alexandria’s offense was firing on all cylinders as Kason Williams had a massive showing rushing for 185 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Although Kason wasn’t their only big offensive performance because Alex Fontenot had 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns of his own. Pineville’s defense simply couldn’t stop the big plays as Alexandria continued to break away for big gain after big gain throughout this matchup. On the defensive side Alexandria didn’t give Pineville any room to breath as Letravious Williams, Jaytun Terry, and Daniel Harrington all each recorded an interception. But this wasn’t the last of the turnovers as Kerrick Gaines one of our Diamonds in the Rough forced two fumbles in his 5 recorded tackles this day. This was an all-out onslaught from Alexandria as they have been steamrolling through their schedule to an impressive 6-1 record for the season. Alexandria is going to be a true contender in these upcoming playoff games as 5 of their 6 wins have been won by 40 or more points. They have been a dominant force this season and are looking for another win in their game this Friday against Ruston.
