A day after it was announced that Montgomery High School (Montgomery, LA) QB Mason Jordan becomes the first quarterback to commit to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game, he now gets one of his offensive linemen to also commit to play in the All-Star game and that is veteran offensive lineman Jett Bullock.
At 6’4, 230 pounds, Bullock has been a consistent performer for the Tigers earning 1st Team All-District honors as a sophomore and a junior. On pace to become a 1st Team All-District selection for the third time in a row, he has become a key piece to protecting Mason Jordan, who is currently Top 5 in the state of Louisiana in passing and number one in Division IV.
Rated as a three star prospect by Gridiron Football, Bullock has a long, lean frame that makes him an athletic option whether it is pulling in the running game or matching up with athletic defensive ends on the edge at tackle. As the best lineman on the team, Bullock stands out not only as an offensive lineman, but as a defensive lineman as well.
Being a multi-time All-District performer while also having a 3.65 GPA in the classroom, Jett Bullock earned the opportunity to play in this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of the year at Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana on December 30th. For Bullock, this is a great opportunity to showcase his skills in front of college coaches.
“I just think making the playoffs or not, it is going to be a heartfelt moment walking off the field for the last time, especially your senior year and especially playing football my whole life. I think it is going to be special knowing I have one more game especially playing against players I have never played before and in front of coaches that I have never played with.”
