DITR: WR Jordan Styles, The Woodlands College Park High School (The Woodlands, TX)

Jordan Styles is a name to be on the lookout for this upcoming season. This class of ‘26 wide receiver from The Woodlands College Park High School out of The Woodlands, TX, is a key part to the team’s success. Jordan won many awards this past season, including 2024 Houston’s Player of the Year, All District 1st Team Wide Receiver, and he was even invited to the Navy All American Combine after his 2024 season. Even with accomplishing all of that, Jordan managed to maintain a 3.6 GPA. Standing at 6’0, 200lb, he is a force to be reckoned with. Having a 4.5 40-yard dash is just the start of what this kid can do. Jordan is also a 4 year Varsity Letterman, who currently holds 7 D1. He is #1 on the field for a reason.

Check out my interview with Jordan Styles Below!

What got you into football?

“I was just a fast kid in elementary at school so my parents put me in flag football to get me started.”

Who is your favorite player?

“My Idol would be Odell Beckham Jr, he made me love and want to play football, he gave me a spark with the game.”

Where do you see yourself after high school?

“I see myself at a D1 School playing football.”

Who is your dream school?

“My top three are University of Wyoming, Montana State, and SFA.”

Which coach has played the biggest role in your player development?

“I would say Coach Coats. My sophomore year Coats came in and he has always been big on being a leader, player development, being a team player, and just being a good overall young man.”

Do you have any pregame rituals?

“Eating and then just give me my headphones and I’ll be good to go.”

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned through football?

“Understanding that if you want to be good at this and go to the next level, you gotta love it. If you want to be at the top and be the greatest you have to truly love it. If you came in every day not loving it you wouldn’t work as hard. It’s also more than just a game of football, it’s being a leader, a team player, working out in the weight room, keep going even when it gets hard, building ur teamates up, and really loving it.”

Do you have any goals for this season?

“I would like to beat the school record in receiving yards. Overall my goal is 1,500 receiving yards, 15 touchdowns, and district offensive player of the year.”

What do you think your biggest strength is?

“I want to say I have a good strength of benign able to forget the current play and move on to the next, and just not being too hard on myself.”

Who or what motivates you to keep playing?

“My mom, I told her I want to repay her for everything she’s done. It’s just been me and her pretty much my whole life and she has done everything she could to keep me excelling and keep me going. Whether it was that I wanted these certain cleats, or I needed to be at practice, or if I’m not eating good enough, or not going to bed on time, or anything messing with my performance, she’s always been what keeps me going and keeps me in check.”
