WHAT TO LOOK FOR – WEEK 12

TURKEY DAY TRIUMPH: Week 12 begins on Thursday with a Thanksgiving tripleheader for the 11th consecutive year. Traditional competitors Detroit and Dallas will host games during the day followed by a primetime nightcap.

All six teams playing on Thanksgiving have a .500 or better record. It is only the second time in NFL history – and first since 1935 – in which the Thanksgiving schedule has at least three games and every team has a .500 or better record.

RUMBLING ROOKIES: Dallas quarterback DAK PRESCOTT leads NFL rookies in passing yards (2,640), touchdown passes (17) and passer rating (108.6). Prescott can become the­ third NFL rookie to pass for at least 300 yards on Thanksgiving Day.

Cowboys rookie running back EZEKIEL ELLIOTT leads the NFL with 1,102 rushing yards, the third-most in a player’s first 10 career games, and ranks second in the NFC with 10 total touchdowns. Elliott can become the third NFL rookie to rush for at least 150 yards on Thanksgiving Day.

FANTASTIC FITZGERALD: Arizona wide receiver LARRY FITZGERALD had six catches last week, bringing his career total to 1,092 receptions and extending his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 189.

With a catch on Sunday at Atlanta, Fitzgerald would tie Pro Football Hall of Famer MARVIN HARRISON (190) for the third-longest streak in NFL history.

With four touchdown passes on Sunday against Los Angeles, Brees would tie PEYTON MANNING and Pro Football Hall of Famer BRETT FAVRE for the most seasons with 30+ touchdown passes (nine), and extend his NFL-record streak of consecutive seasons with 30+ touchdown passes to nine.
