Warhawk Football Lands 23 Total Commitments

MONROE, La. – ULM head coach Matt Viator and his staff received a total of 23 commitments as part of the Warhawks’ signing class that was completed today on National Signing Day. Of the 23 total signees, 16 inked with the Warhawks today, joining the seven mid-year transfers who joined the program in January.

The Warhawks will celebrate the program’s signing class later Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. Fans are invited to attend the event. Tickets are $10 and include both food and drink, and can be purchased in advance online or by contacting Ashley Hart (ha**@ul*.edu) at 342-3579.

“Today is a great day for our program, and a great day we think moving forward. It’s a year-long process and our coaches did a fantastic job. It was a really good year for us and we extremely excited,” Viator stated. “We’ve now played both ends of the spectrum on the recruiting front, after last year we were late and scrambling and this year we were committed out and waiting. We’re excited we were able to hold on to these guys and get them in here.”

The class includes four players each at wide receiver, cornerback and safety, three players at both linebacker and offensive line, two running backs, one defensive tackle, one tight end and one athlete.

ULM welcomes 10 incoming players from the state of Louisiana, nine Texas products, and one player from Arkansas, California, Mississippi and New York.

Complete biographical information on each of the 23 signees is attached to this release and can also be found at ULMWarhawks.com, while each new Warhawk is listed below.
