St. Paul’s Defeats Scotlandville in Second Playoff Round

St. Paul’s and Scotlandville met last night for an energetic match in the second round of the playoffs. In the first quarter the score stayed at zero as both sides’ defense played aggressive and strong. In the second quarter, Scotlandville kicked a field goal and brings the Hornet’s score up to 3. St. Paul’s was then forced to kick a field goal and tied the score 3-3. When St. Paul’s offense came back out, they scored the first touchdown of the game and the score is 10-3.

After halftime, Scotlandville came out with a lot of energy. They were strong defensively and dominated the first drive of the second half. The Scotlandville Hornets scored and the score was tied 10-10. Both teams then scored and kept the game scored 17-17 and went into overtime. The St. Paul’s Wolves then kicked a field goal and won the game 20-17.
