Rising Star, RB/DB Sevin Domingue, Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA)

Sevin Dominque is 15 years old and is in the 8th grade with a 3.25 GPA. He recently participated in the 2023 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game for Junior High. He is 5’8 and weighs 150lbs. Dominque is a versatile athlete who plays on both sides. During the bowl game recorded 5 carries for serval yards, 2 catches for 15 yards, and on defense he was all over the field.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

“Winning The Brother Bob award at school”

What player do you compare yourself to and why?

“Christian McCaffrey, because I can make people miss with my moves and run them over if I have to.”

What are your plans once you’re done with football and why?

“Helping and coaching others with their dreams. I know how much time others pour into me and how much time it takes.”

What do you like about the sport of football
and how is it significant to you?

“The crowd and playing the game. It is amazing running around and getting to hit people.”

What did it mean to be able and play in the Gridiron football Bowl game?

“It was awesome! I was able to meet a lot of new people, the coach’s were amazing! I learned a lot of new things and made new friendships.”

What is an interesting fact about you outside of football?

“I play baseball and run track outside of football season.”

What is your dream school to play for in college?

” LSU or Oregon

What are your current football goals?

“Focusing on doing good in high school football and trying to get offers so I can make it to college.”

What’s something you’re working to improve ?

“Getting my weight up and getting stronger.”

What is a strength you have in the game?

“Quickness to get away from people.”

What’s your favorite activity outside of football?

“Training and working out.”

What’s something football taught you?

“That God gives everyone a gift! Focus on your dream and what you are passionate about. God gave me the gift of an athletic ability, I am thankful!”
