At the quarterback position, a name that Central Louisiana needs to pay attention to in the near future is Grant High School signal caller Gage Hossieni. Over the last two years, Hossieni has been a frequent camper during our Gridiron Football Elite Camp series and has shown a lot of potential only entering his sophomore season. The 5’10, 154 pound Class of 2028 quarterback prospect can stand tall in the pocket and has a very good delivery. If needed, he can also roll outside the pocket and throw on the run as well.
Not only does he have a nice delivery, he also shows great touch and accuracy when throwing to his receivers. Despite just finishing his freshman year, Hossieni has really showed his skillset in the 7v7 and camp circuit. He has been a consistent performer at Gridiron’s camps, but most notably, he has led the JackBoyz to four championship games this past spring and he also earned an invite to Top Gun in Florida through FBU. Along with being a talented quarterback on the field, he also shows the discipline needed to be a great student athlete having over a 3.0 GPA. In our latest Rising Star writeup, read more about Gage below!
