Rising Star: Ja’Myris Allen

Ja’Myris Allen is a 8th grade lineman at CSAL Middle School. Ja’Myris also has also recorded a max bench press of 185 and a max squat of 205 at the age of 13.

Interview with Ja’Myris Allen

Q. When did you first start playing football?

J. I was 6 years old when I started playing.

Q. What is it that made you love football?

J. I love using physicality on the field to relieve my stress.

Q. Is there a specific player that you watch and try to model your game after?

J. Aaron Donald and Trent Williams

Q. What is your favorite thing about playing on the line?

J. I like blocking for my quarterback and putting other players on their back.

Q. Who is your role model and why?

J. My Momma and my Uncle are my role models. My mom does everything for me in life. My uncle also played sports so he pushes me to be better.

Q. Who is your favorite NFL team?

J. The Buffalo Bill

Q. Do you have a favorite player you like to watch?

J. Trent Williams

Q. If you could have any meal after a game what are you picking to eat?

J. Steak and a stuffed potato

Q. What would you say is your best quality on the field?

J. My speed and toughness.

Q. What motivates you to get better everyday?

J. Seeing how my teammates look up to me. Being a leader on the team is what pushes me.

Q. What would you say is the most important lesson that football has taught you?

J. Having good discipline.
