
Meet Noah Pastorek, a rising star at St. George Catholic School in Baton Rouge, LA. Noah is a very talented player who is 5’11” and 140 pounds. Noah, just in the 8th grade, has a passion and love for football. Noah plays and practices with wanting to improve and get better as a player to help his team and make himself better as a player. Noah played in our Gridiron Football Junior High Bowl Game for Team South this past December showing his ability and talent, having 2.5 tackles for Team South. I had the great opportunity to talk with Noah this past week and ask him a few questions. Noah told me during the interview that he is undefeated as a starter for his team.
Q. Why do you play the game of football?
A. “To win, to have a purpose to be on a team, cause I love the sport.”
Q. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned through playing football?
A. “It takes work to get better.”
Q. Where do you see football going in your life?
A. “I want to play High School ball at Catholic High. I hope to play Division 1 college preferable in the SEC. I want to put myself in position to go as far as my talent can take me.”

Q. What is your favorite football memory?
A. “Catching a 2 point conversion in the Superdome and an undefeated 6th grade season.”
Q. What does football mean to you?
A. “I love to practice, I love to train in the off-season, I love to be a part of a team and to make a large contribution. It is the best life.”
Q. What challenges have you had while playing football?
A. ” I Tore my hip flexor, it was difficult to miss playing time, but I was determined to get back onto the field.”
Q. How did you overcome those challenges?
A. “Worked very hard and was careful not to reinjure it. The physical therapy between Dr. Chris Reidel and Razer Ashraf the trainer helped and made sure I was healing and ready to play and I came back 110%”
Q. How do you stay trained and in football-shape during the off-season?
A. “Razer Ashraf with FSP is my trainer. I will also go to weight training at Catholic and football camp”
Q. How are you looking to get better and improve in football?
A. “All of the training above. Every day I have free time I work on footwork and speed training.”
Q. What are some goals that you have set for yourself in the future?
A. “To be the best I can be”
Q. Who is your favorite football player and why?
A. “Tyreek Hill because he is the fastest”
