PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR RAGIN’ CAJUNS WHITE OUT FOOTBALL OPENER

LAFAYETTE – With an 11 a.m. start time for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football opener against Boise State on Saturday, fans are encouraged to take advantage of plenty of activities planned around Cajun Field prior to the game.

Activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. when the Ragin’ Cajuns football team participates in the traditional Cajun Walk along Reinhardt Drive before the Tailgate Concert, featuring Bag of Donuts, begins at 8:45.

The Cajuns Kid Dash, presented by McDonald’s, will take place at 10:40 a.m., with the first 100 kids ages 12-and-under receiving a free t-shirt. All participants in the Cajuns Kid Dash are asked to meet with UL Marketing staff members near the Victory Bell in the South End Zone Complex 45 minutes before kickoff.

Gates will open to Cajun Field at 9:30 a.m., with all fans attending encouraged to use clear bags when entering the stadium.

The game against Boise State is designated as a White Out with special t-shirts available for $5 from the Ragin’ Cajuns Store on Johnston Street. Fans can purchase t-shirts between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Cajun Field.

Single-game and season tickets are currently on sale at the Cajundome Box Office and on-line at RaginCajuns.com.

Fans can take advantage of an “Early Bird” discount by purchasing their tickets prior to gameday. Reserved tickets purchased prior to midnight before each home game are $26 with general admission tickets $21. Tickets purchased on game day are $31 (Reserved) and $26 (General Admission).

Fans can also purchase the McDonald’s Family 4-Pack for $66, which includes four general admission tickets and a coupon for four Extra Value Meals at participating McDonald’s. Corporate general admission tickets are $13 per game with a minimum purchase of 25, and student escort tickets in the Red Zone at Cajun Field are $12.

Season tickets, beginning at $116, are currently available at the Cajundome Box Office and on-line at RaginCajuns.com.
