McKinley Coaches Corner Game 1: Capitol

With Hurricane Ida putting a pause on McKinley’s start to the regular season, Thursday’s matchup between McKinley and Capital will be this teams first regular season game. I was able to sit down with Coach Reed and discuss what the history of this game means to him. Though the players were not able to practice last week, they are hungry for action and ready for this rivalry that dates back to when Coach Reed used to suit up in a McKinley jersey.

This week’s matchup is Thursday at 7:00 p.m. against Capitol High School (Baton Rouge, LA). Here is my Coaches Corner with Malcolm Reed where we were able to talk about McKinley’s jamboree and some things that the team was looking to improve upon for this matchup.
