BATON ROUGE – LSU outside linebacker Arden Key will return to the team on Monday, head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Sunday.
Orgeron also said Key recently underwent shoulder surgery.
“Arden had shoulder surgery and everything went as planned,” Orgeron said. “We are looking forward to having Arden rejoin the team tomorrow (Monday).”
Key, who enters his third season as a starter for the Tigers in 2017, earned first team All-SEC honors last year when he set the LSU single-season record for sacks with 12. In 23 career games, Key has registered 97 tackles, 21.0 tackles for loss and 17.0 sacks.
