How do you get scouted to play college ball? You will hear everyone tell you that you first must be a winner. While that is true, it is not the only standard. No matter if you are from a large school in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, or West Monroe or you are from a small school such as Rosepine, DeQunciy, or DeRidder you first must be noticed. Coaches cannot physically go to every school in Louisiana to find recruits so YOU have to go to them.
Every summer all 12 schools in Louisiana host football camps throughout the summer. By going to these camps, you get your name out there among the coaches. Your coaches should be emailing these schools about you with your highlights, so by going, you are putting a face with those emails.
These camps vary in prices, but it is worth the costs. Here is a flier for Louisiana College camps.
Check out each schools website to find the links for their camps.
