LSU CONGRATULATES SENIOR BOWL PARTICIPANTS WITH BILLBOARD

BATON ROUGE – LSU’s four Senior Bowl participants – Ethan Pocic, Travin Dural, Duke Riley, and Tre’Davious White – are being congratulated by the school for their selection to the prestigious all-star game with an electronic billboard that is currently running in the Mobile, Alabama area.

One location of the billboard featuring the four LSU Tigers can be seen on Interstate 10 in downtown Mobile just west of the Texas Street exit (facing west). The other location is on Interstate 10 just west of the Daphne exit (facing west) outside of Spanish Fort, Alabama. The billboards are scheduled to run through the weekend.

“That’s really cool,” Pocic said when told of the billboard. “It means a lot to me for LSU to do something like this for us. I’m always honored to wear the purple and gold and the LSU helmet. This is just another example of what a great place LSU is and how much they care about us. LSU is a family and this billboard really makes me proud to be a Tiger.”

Pocic along with his three LSU teammates will be in action for the final time as college players on Saturday when the Senior Bowl takes place at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Kickoff for the contest is set for 1:30 p.m. and will be televised by the NFL Network.

The four Tigers will wear their traditional LSU helmet for the game to go along with white jerseys for the South squad. Pocic will wear No. 77, White No. 18, Dural No. 83 and Riley will wear No. 0.

Riley said he’s wearing No. 0 to continue a trend set last year by former Tiger Deion Jones, who also wore the No. 0 in the game. Riley said he hopes that future LSU linebackers who play in the Senior Bowl will wear No. 0 as well.
