Two LSU veterans Jaray Jenkins and Micah Baskerville will suit up one final time representing the Purple and Gold in the upcoming NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, which will be played tomorrow at the Rose Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 P.M. with the NFL Network broadcasting the All-Star game.
Both Jenkins and Baskerville will be teammates on the National Team, which is coached by former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL All-Pro running back Eddie George. Baskerville will wear #52 while Jenkins will wear #11.
Baskerville led the Tigers in tackles this past season with 89 highlighted by a season high 15 tackle performance against Tennessee. The former Evangel Christian Academy Eagle finished his LSU career with 259 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks during his five year stint with the Tigers.
Jenkins has been a steady receiver over his career at LSU and flew under the radar in a deep receiving core by leading the Tigers in touchdown catches with six this past season. The Jena, Louisiana native finished his LSU career with 89 receptions for 1,370 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Both players join John Battle (2019), Russell Gage (2018), Frank Herron (2018), Reid Ferguson (2016), Kadron Boone (2014), and J.C. Copeland (2014) as former Tigers to participate in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
