Broderick Fowler Jr is a 5’11 160 lbs defensive back (Chef Patriots) out of the class of 2026. Fowler is dedicated on and off the field and sustained a GPA of 3.3. The defensive back won all-state twice and defensive MVP. Fowler is a play maker on the defensive side doing whatever it takes for his team to win. Fowler displays strong ball-hawking ability in coverage. Alongside this, Broderick creates turnovers through pass breakups and forced mistakes. Fowler also received six offers from the following schools: Capital University, Community Christian College, Bonneville College, Arkansas Bullies, Ogden Jets, and Sterling College. What motivates you most to play football?
Really just came back to it, so it is like a never quit mentality, and just doing the things I love to do ,and I love playing football so I just like to do my best at it.
What does being a good teammate mean to you?
A guy that will always be there for his teammate, being there even if they make a mistake in the moment.
How was your experience during the Bowl Game?
I had an amazing experience and it opened a lot of opportunities for me. Also working with guys that want to play at the next level was just a great experience overall.
What is your favorite football memory and why?
When I got my first interception at a tournament in Florida, we were down I got a pick six and we ended up winning in OT.
What was your favorite game so far?
It was a rivalry game against Acadiana Christian, I came out with a strip fumble and an interception.
What made you start playing football?
I played it as a child. I went away from it for a while. Then I watched it a lot and it made me realize I missed the sport, so I started back playing as my passion grew bigger for the sport.
Dream Football College?
Being from Baton Rouge it is always gonna be LSU.
How has football helped you outside the sport?
It taught me a new level of discipline and responsibility in a way.
What is your favorite position to play?
Corner-back, because of the competitive aspect of it.
Favorite NFL Player?
I would say Patrick Surtain II.
