We have senior Aydan Self out of Hammond, Louisiana. A 6 ‘0 230lbs Linebacker and Defensive End with a 2.9 GPA receiving 2nd team all-district, ending the season with 52 tackles, 12 TFLs, and 3 sacks. Aydan participated in our Gridiron Bowl Game this past December on the Demons team. However, Aydan is not only a dawg on the field but also a young entrepreneur getting ready to start his own clothing brand. He will be committing to Ottawa University in the coming days. Gridiron Football wishes him the best at the next level!

The Bowl game was great.
What has football taught you that you think will help you most in college life?
It taught me how to bond with different people from different backgrounds and cultures.
How does it feel knowing this is your last season wearing your high school jersey?
It feels good because I felt like me and my boys played our tails off even though we didn’t win it all.
What moment from your senior year are you going to remember forever?
When we beat ponchatoula to end the season 7-3 with our best record in 20 years.
What made you choose the college you’re heading to?
They know how to win and also because I want to build my own legacy outside of my state.
Who pushed you the most to become the player (and person) you are today?
My mother and my tete because I know they want me to become the version myself.
How has balancing school, football, and life shaped your time management?
It taught me that when I enter the real world you have to know how to use your time right.
Outside of football, what are you hoping to discover or try in college?
I’m starting my clothing brand!
Five years from now, where do you hope football and your education have taken you?
Five years from now I want to have my brand bring over 10k month and show the football world I can do something beyond college football.
What snack or meal do you destroy after games?
I can destroy some beef jerky and blueberry and raspberries protein smoothie
If football didn’t exist, what sport do you think you’d be good at?
I feel like I wouldn’t play a sport and would focus on my brand.
