GF All-American Bowl Commit: Wesley Moore

Wesley Moore is a 6’4, 250 pound offensive lineman from Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana. Wesley is the son of the team’s offensive line coach Bobby Moore and like his dad, he has a high football IQ. Not only does he bring smarts, but he brings physicality too. With his big, physical frame, Wesley is not afraid to drive players into the ground as you clearly can see in the highlight tape below. Playing under head coach Chris Edwards, Wesley has proven to be a stalemate on the Raiders’ offensive line as a four year starter. There is plenty of good reason why he is a four year starter and one of the better offensive linemen in the area. In the weight room, he can bench press 335 pounds and can squat 430 pounds. In the classroom, he has a 3.1 GPA and made a 21 on his ACT. Gridiron Football CEO Andy Bryson has seen Wesley play and compares him to former New Orleans Saints All-Pro offensive tackle Kyle Turley. Comparing him to a former NFL All-Pro shows what kind of upside he has and Wesley will get the chance to show that in front of college coaches at the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl at the end of December.
