David Roberts is a linebacker from Holy Savior Menard High School and is one of the best senior defensive players in the CenLa area. Before the season, David was searching for his first Division I offer and got one at the beginning of August from Louisiana Christian University. David will like to add some more offers before it is all said and done as he will get the chance to do so in this year’s Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of December. David has all the measurables as he is 6’3, 220 pounds with 4.7/40 speed. Besides Louisiana Christian, David has drawn interest from some of the in-state schools like Northwestern State and ULL. His head coach Justin Charles praises David not only about his play, but what he does in the classroom and by his actions as he has a 3.8 GPA as well as a student ambassador. David cannot wait to showcase what he can do in Orange Beach, Alabama.
“My first reaction to getting invited to the bowl game was exciting. I am very thankful and I’ve always wanted to be in this game. It feels like my hard work has paid off and I feel it’s a great opportunity to be playing with and against some of the country’s finest.”
