North Webster High School, which is the home of former LSU All-American and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White, will have its most explosive player playing in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game in Cooper Sanders. A dynamic athlete, Cooper was the team’s leading rusher and receiver as a junior and was the Knights’ top offensive weapon his senior season. His head coach John Ware calls him one of the most explosive players that he has coached as Cooper brings explosive 4.5/40 speed to the table and currently has an offer from Southern Arkansas. He will get to showcase his talents in order to get more offers in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of December.
“When I first realized I was invited to a bowl game, I was very excited. I told my parents and called my coach to see if it was real and once I realized it was, I couldn’t stop smiling. It means so much to me. I’ve dreamed of moments like this since Pee Wee and now, they are coming true.”
