St. Stanislaus High School’s record setting running back Chandler Chapman has committed to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game. This season, the Rock-a-Chaws star running back was third in Mississippi in rushing and set a single season school record with 1,800 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. The talented St. Stanislaus running back has a big, physical frame, but also possesses 4.48/40 speed. Chapman has incredible strength bench pressing 275 pounds, squatting 550 pounds, and power cleaning 225 pounds. It has been a long journey for Chapman as he has dealt with injuries and moving back and forth from Northshore High School (LA) to St. Stanislaus (MS), but the ending to his high school journey has been worthwhile as he not only broke a school record, but he also will get the chance to play in the Gridiron Football All-American Bowl Game at the end of December against some of the best players in the country.
“I was extremely excited to hear that I was invited. Knowing that my talent is being noticed and finally getting some recognition meant a lot to me.”
