Turbo Baxter, out of Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA), is a true workaholic for the Knights. Last season, the class of ’26 running back had a breakout year for the Knights, racking up approximately 700 rushing yards along with 7 touchdowns on the season. He was a major contributor for the Knights in their playoff run last season. While speaking with Turbo, he gave me insight that Coach Clarkston plans to make the switch to also let Turbo get snaps as QB this season. This would add a true speed factor/dual threat option to the position that could be very beneficial for the Knights next season! Turbo also dominates the classroom, holding a 3.9 GPA while being a triple-sport athlete. He plays Baseball as a shortstop and pitcher, and also does steer wrestling. He recently won a state championship in steer wrestling!

At our camp, Turbo ran a speedy 4.5 40-yard dash, which was one of the fastest at the camp. While briefly speaking with Turbo, he expressed that he wanted to get even faster and stronger in preparations for next season. He also let me know that he currently benches 150 lbs, but plans to hit the gym hard this offseason to increase that max and his strength. I’m pumped to see what contributions Turbo Baxter could make in the QB room and how he can improve at RB next season! His ceiling is to the roof, and his
