DITR: RB Carter Guillotte Lake Arthur High School (Lake Arthur, LA)

Introducing diamond in the rough Carter Guillotte the quick running back out of Lake Arthur. At 5’8 and 165 pounds Carter isn’t the biggest physical presence on the field but he makes up for this through his quickness and patience. Carter has exemptional field vision having the ability to consistently break towards the sideline and up field quick, fast, and in a hurry. Carter’s cerebral game on the field makes more sense as you see his off the field accomplishments with a 3.5 GPA and haven taken Dual Enrollment classes at McNeese.

Here is my interview below with Carter Guillotte.

What player do you think you play the closest alike?

If you ask anyone on the team everyone says I play like Le’Veon Bell because I’m pretty patient when it comes to finding a hole. I definetely like to wait for my blocks to develop and then hit the hole after that

Who would be your dream teammate?

It has to be Drew Brees, he’s just a leader. It’s very motivating to listen to him just talk.

What got you into football?

My mom just kind of signed me up when I was little and just fell in love with it. I’ve been playing football since 4 or 5.

Why’d you pick your position?

Honestly I didn’t just in junior high they put me on the second team and I made a good play at running back and it’s just stuck.

When you where put in the backfield was there a certain player you looked up to?

For me it’s definitely Alvin Kamara since I’m such a big Saints fan.

What’s your strongest attribute on the football field?

It would have to be between my patience, my quickness, or my ability to not let a certain play to bring me down or bother me for too long. I’m quick about if something bad happens I can move on.

Lastly what’s your favorite football movie?

Either greater or the Longest yard.
